The Deerfield Country Club is a 27-hole championship facility nestled on more than 350 acres. It contains a recently renovated 25,000 square foot Clubhouse that can accommodate up to 600 people in its four banquet rooms. It also contains two grille rooms, pro-shop, and full locker room facilities.

In terms of course quality and conditions, the independent New York Golf Magazine, ranked The Deerfield Country Club as the 3rd most challenging course in New York State in 2003. It said among the main Westside courses:

“The Deerfield Country Club is the standout among them. The course has undergone significant renovations under the new ownership and upgrades designed by Geoffrey Cornish of Harvard University. Even before the improvements, the course was deemed good enough to host a U.S. Open Women’s Qualifier.”

The Official Journal of the 2003 PGA Championship commented:

“The west side of Monroe County features one of the most challenging courses in the area, Deerfield Country Club, a moderately priced facility with 27 holes. Its premier 18 holes is a par 72 that measures 7083 yards from the championship tees and features some of the most severe greens in Western New York.”

Recognition of the excellence of the course and facilities can be seen in the increasingly important events hosted at The Deerfield Country Club.

However, it is not just the course and facilities that make The Deerfield Country Club a great place to host an outing: it is the staff that makes the real difference. Their organization, attention to detail and caring spirit are the difference between it and other courses in the area.
